Hands-on STEM • Ages 4–16 • Cyprus

Big ideas start with small hands.

Children don’t just hear how things work. They build, fizz, code, test, wobble, rethink and try again—in real workshops made for curious minds.

  • Ask a big question
  • Make something real
  • Test it. Tweak it. Triumph.

Meet the Wonder Crew—four curious guides for every stage of discovery.

Less scrolling. More making.

WonderLab turns questions into experiments, ideas into prototypes and “I can’t” into “let me try again.”

Why WonderLab STEM?

Questions first. Answers earned by making.

WonderLab STEM helps children learn by doing: building, testing, coding, experimenting and improving their ideas. Every programme is adapted to the learners in the room—from preschool explorers to teenage innovators.

About the founder

Designed by a software engineer with a passion for STEM education.

WonderLab STEM was created by a Senior Software Engineer with experience in complex technology projects, mentoring young learners and introducing children to creative STEM.

The goal is to make science and technology feel accessible, playful and empowering for children of different ages.

Science Curiosity

Children observe, predict, test and discover through safe, age-appropriate experiments.

Engineering Mindset

Children design, build, test and improve solutions using simple materials and structured challenges.

Coding & Robotics

From screen-free coding to robotics and app ideas, children develop logic and computational thinking.

Creative Confidence

Every session encourages children to try, adjust, collaborate and feel proud of their ideas.

No prior STEM, coding or robotics experience is needed. Activities are adapted to each age group, confidence level and learning pace.

Programme pathways

Flexible STEM experiences for different ages.

Choose from short pilots, weekly clubs, school workshops, holiday camps or one-off STEM events.

Ages 4–6

WonderLab Minis

Play-based STEM for preschoolers: experiments, building, nature discovery, storytelling and coding without screens.

Ages 6–9

WonderLab Juniors

Custom primary school workshops and pilot programmes with engineering challenges, beginner robotics, logic games, science labs and creative problem-solving.

Ages 9–12

WonderLab Makers

Project-based workshops adapted to the school’s needs: robotics missions, coding basics, game logic, inventions, prototypes and teamwork challenges.

Ages 13–16

WonderLab Innovators

Mentoring and digital creation sessions for older students: app ideas, web projects, AI concepts, design thinking, entrepreneurship and real-world problem solving.

STEM mentoring & real-world inspiration

Helping children see themselves as creators.

WonderLab STEM is inspired by hands-on experiences with young learners, including coding workshops with teen girls who created their first digital projects.

Our vision grows with the child: from playful discovery to coding, app ideas, web projects, AI concepts and mentoring.

Real Digital Creation

Students moved from ideas to simple working projects, building confidence through practical creation.

Future Pathways

These workshops connect naturally with WonderLab Innovators for older students interested in coding, AI, web projects and entrepreneurship.

Example workshops

Activities can be adapted by age and school needs.

Science

Fizzy Moon Rocks

A space-themed chemistry activity for young children using observation, prediction and safe reactions.

Engineering

Bridge Builders

Children design, test and improve bridges using simple materials and teamwork.

Coding

Coding Without Screens

Younger children use arrows and movement; older children can progress to robotics and coding projects.

Robotics

Robot Missions

Age-appropriate robotics challenges that introduce sequencing, logic, debugging and collaboration.

Nature

Eco STEM Challenges

Activities around plants, water, recycling, habitats and environmental problem-solving.

App & Web Ideas

For older children and teens: idea generation, prototyping, simple web projects and creative technology.

For schools and organisations

Flexible collaboration options.

4-week pilot A low-risk way to test interest with children, parents and teachers.
Weekly STEM club A structured programme for afternoon activities or enrichment hours.
One-off workshops Special STEM days, events, celebrations or themed school visits.
Custom programme Activities adapted to the school’s age group, schedule, facilities and goals.

Safe and age-appropriate

Professional preparation for every session.

Activities use simple materials, clear instructions and adult supervision. Sessions are delivered in collaboration with the school and follow its safety and supervision policies. Content is adjusted by age, from hands-on discovery to coding, robotics, design thinking and real-world projects.
